Quari Ice (www.quari-ice.com) is a high-growth Chicago startup and we're looking for an experienced customer-oriented driver to join our team - someone who will help us be the face of Quari Ice. In addition to an hourly rate plus OT each member of the team can receive monthly profit-sharing and annual bonus. Most importantly every member of the team becomes an owner of the company through stock options. We do not have employees at Quari Ice, we have owners. Quari Ice is ultra pure, crystal clear ice handcrafted to elevate everyday beverage experiences. It's available for purchase at grocery stores and served at many of Chicago's high-end restaurants and hotels. Our mission is to help elevate the playing field for people who need a second chance and we accomplish it by producing the best ice in the world.
This position is full-time and starts with a hybrid role. Your initial focus will be on learning the finer points of production (in order to represent the Quari Brand, you must first master all that goes into crafting it), before eventually transitioning into delivery as our Brand Ambassador. As Quari Ice expands there will be opportunities for advancement in leadership, supervisory, and management positions.

The ideal candidate:
- Is reliable and a motivated self-starter
- Has experience delivering a food service product (preferably 2+ years)
- Has an incident-free history (safety is our #1 priority)
- Has an eye for detail
- Is able to lift up to 60 pounds with ease; and has a delicate touch (our ice is as fragile as glass!)
- Has a car, and is punctual; reliability is critical (don't worry, we supply the ice truck)
- Is flexible and doesn't mind working OT (and sometimes one day per weekend)
- Isn't looking for a job but a career
- Thinks and acts like an owner (because you WILL be an owner if you work here - see compensation details)
