Immediate Openings for FT/PT Bartender, Busser, Host and Servers

We're located just off the Chicago's historic "Magnificent Mile" centered among the city's most prestigious hotels and retail stores. Labriola Cafe and Ristorante is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our team in several positions. Our restaurant focuses on classic homemade Italian cuisine, Our Famous Chicago Style Deep Dish & Artisan style pizzas, classic Italian and domestic wines and interesting craft cocktails!

We offer a flexible work schedule, comprehensive and detailed training, daily family meals and discounts at participating locations as well as a chance to work and grow along side some of Chicago's elite industry professionals!

BUSSER

Your day-to-day may include the following based on position:

Clear and reset tables

Polish and fold napkins

Maintain the appearance standards of the dining room

Work alongside servers and bartenders and assist them with our guests

Be a part of the guest experience

Job Requirements:

-Open availability is preferred

-Must have 6 months to 1 year of experience, but are willing to train the right individual

-Dependable, hard-working and excellent communication skills.

-Must be able to understand communication between staff and guests requests

Physical Requirements:

-Capable of standing for long periods of time, up to 6 hours without the opportunity to rest

-Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.

HOST/HOSTESS POSITION

Possibly one of the most important roles at Labriola Ristorante is our Host/Reservationist. We are looking for a sharp, clean cut and energetic person with the ability to multitask. Someone who understand the importance of a first and last impression on our guests, and the host's role in maintaining flow, and service throughout the rest of the restaurant.

The perfect candidate will poses a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position, but we are also willing to teach the right person for the job.

Weekend availability is required, Open availability is preferred.

Your day-to-day may include the following based on position:

-Someone who is willing to be a part of a high-functioning team, and understands the importance of being a team player.

-Accountability for the job, and management of the front desk, wait lists, and overseeing other hosts.

-Competitive pay, with experience.

- Multi-task and interact with groups of customers and employees

- Must be able to hold your own, and not need guidance for small tasks, wait times etc. Be able to solve small problems and find solutions, and ask for help if needed.

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

- Must be punctual and have flexible availability

SERVER

Requirements: 1-2 years High Volume, full service

We are a team and expect to work together to accomplish our tasks during service and when closing the restaurant. We are currently hiring for full time and part time staff. BARTENDER

Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in high volume atmosphere

These individuals are team orientated, sales driven, able to multi-task and think quick in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere with a positive, professional and friendly demeanor. We are hiring professional, enthusiastic and an outside the box way of thinking, knowledge of current craft cocktail methodology, the ability to assist in developing a drink list & cost conscious. AM and PM availability and weekends.
