Brendan Sodikoffs retro-style burger joint located in Chicagos Bucktown neighborhood is seeking an experienced Manager for Small Cheval at 1732 N. Milwaukee Avenue. Small Cheval is part of Hogsalt Hospitality, run by Brendan Sodikoff, which includes Au Cheval, Bavette's, Doughnut Vault, Gilt Bar, Green Street Smoked Meats, High Five Ramen, Maudes Liquor Bar and 3 Greens Market. Salary is $60k-$75k based on experience.
Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for all things food and beverage. Has an ability to positively lead others while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. Must believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time. Able to provide guidance and support for employees, is involved in the day to day operations of the Front of House and Back of House team, and is able to create genuine guest experiences.
Experience and Qualifications:
ï§ 2-5 years of experience in full service or quick service restaurants.
ï§ Open availability.
ï§ Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees.
ï§ Problem solver.
ï§ Proven track record in building high-performing teams.
Small Cheval is a short menu of the essentials cheeseburgers, hamburgers and fries. Guests have the option to add bacon, lettuce and tomato. Each cheeseburger is stacked on a toasted bun with two beef patties, melted cheese, pickles, diced red onions and Dijonnaise. Condiments are provided by Sir Kensingtons, a purveyor of all-American condiments made with all-natural ingredients.
