Our office, Sweet Tooth Dentistry, is currently looking to add a new dental assistant to our team!
We are located in Lincoln Park, on Ashland and Altgeld about 10 minutes from the red line if you are walking.
A dental assistant that would be a great fit to our practice is someone who is looking for a new "home away from home." Here at Sweet Tooth we value integrity, kindness, and loyalty. Our patients come first, and we believe in always doing the right thing.
For this position, dental assisting (minimum 2 years) experience is a must.
We are looking for someone who is responsible (always on time), knowledgeable, a team player, and has a passion for what they do. Our office not only does General Dentistry, but we also provide services such as Pola Whitening, Clear Aligner Therapy (Invisalign) Botox and Juvederm.
We currently use Open Dental Software, which is comparable to Dentrix, and Weave to communicate with our patients via text/email. Aside from a software point, we use a Cerec machine to fabricate in house crowns. We also fabricate whitening trays, and night guards in office as well. Knowledge of the services mentioned above, and the software mentioned is preferred, but not mandatory. We are open to training the right candidate.
Responsibilities of this position include:
Assisting the doctor in procedures
Sterilizing instruments
Taking X-rays/photos
Turning over rooms
Taking impressions
Treatment Planning with doctor
Completing lab work
Pouring/Making in house trays/guards
Etc.
