Herb + Åhm is rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, adapted to the needs of modern Chicagoans. Our practice nurtures the mind, body, and spirit through Acupuncture + Chinese Herbal Medicine, while recognizing the value and offerings of Western medicine. Our practice involves ongoing mentoring, a collaborative work environment, and helping people while gaining valuable clinical experience treating patients. We are looking for 1-2 acupuncture and Chinese Medicine practitioners to join our growing team.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Dipl. OM from NCCAOM
L.Ac in Illinois
Herbal medicine skills desired
Time flexibility to fit the needs of the business
Must be able to commute downtown to make 8am or 7pm appointments
2 years experience practicing in the field desired, but not required
Your responsibility will be focusing on patient acquisition and retention, successful clinical outcomes and marketing initiatives that support the clinic goals.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation: Candidate will see 1-3 people per hour with a pay rate of $30-$32 per paying patient seen depending on practitioners years of experience
Independent Contractor Position for Months 1-6 with eligibility for conversion to employee after 6 months if full time practitioner
Hours/Work Life Balance: We offer a 30 hour full-time work week with the opportunity to work additional hours based on one's desired level of income. Full time practitioners receive 5 6 hr shifts totalling 30 hours per week. Our shifts are set up from 8-2pm and 2-8pm, which provides our practitioners with great work life balance.
