We are currently seeking experienced Intermodal Trailer/Chassis Technicians and Diesel Technicians to perform maintenance on our containers, trailers/chassis and tractors in the Chicago, IL area. TRAILER MECHANIC: Up to $23/hour!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis
Repairing tears on the sides of containers
Replacing lights
Tire repair
Landing gear repair
Frame repair
Preventative maintenance / running repair / brakes / suspension
DIESEL MECHANIC: Up to $25/hour!
RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:
Perform all levels of preventative maintenance services
Repair trucks, trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings etc.
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission and differentials

Requirements
1 year of basic welding experience
1 year of tractor/trailer experience
Basic set of tools
Previous experience in container repair & welding preferred
Able to work in varying weather conditions
