Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠Responsible for the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment, and electrical tools. Keeps available equipment in good working order and presentable condition.
⢠Responsibilities will include equipment repairs, maintenance checks, cleaning equipment, reporting equipment condition before and after rentals, giving equipment demonstrations to customers, and assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment.
⢠Physical effort is required to move objects and service related tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service and repair equipment.
⢠Responsible for service documentation, parts ordering, and occasional travel to customers' sites.
⢠Ability to develop the computer skills necessary to complete support duties.
⢠Perform safety inspections on equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
⢠Flexibility regarding work assignments.
⢠Ability to prioritize work assignments.
⢠Personal and professional integrity.
⢠Other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.
Education, Skills and Requirements:
⢠A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required.
⢠Vocational education or certification is preferred.
⢠Prior experience is a plus.
⢠Must be able to lift approximately 75 lbs.
⢠Must speak English clearly and write legibly. Ability to speak another language is a plus.
⢠Must possess a valid driver's license.
⢠Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
⢠Must pass company drug screen.
⢠Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
⢠Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
⢠Must be able to apply principles of rational thinking to solve problems.
⢠Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.
⢠Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.
⢠Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience.
