Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment, and electrical tools. Keeps available equipment in good working order and presentable condition.

• Responsibilities will include equipment repairs, maintenance checks, cleaning equipment, reporting equipment condition before and after rentals, giving equipment demonstrations to customers, and assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment.

• Physical effort is required to move objects and service related tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service and repair equipment.

• Responsible for service documentation, parts ordering, and occasional travel to customers' sites.

• Ability to develop the computer skills necessary to complete support duties.

• Perform safety inspections on equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Flexibility regarding work assignments.

• Ability to prioritize work assignments.

• Personal and professional integrity.

• Other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Education, Skills and Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required.

• Vocational education or certification is preferred.

• Prior experience is a plus.

• Must be able to lift approximately 75 lbs.

• Must speak English clearly and write legibly. Ability to speak another language is a plus.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must maintain a professional personal appearance.

• Must pass company drug screen.

• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.

• Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.

• Must be able to apply principles of rational thinking to solve problems.

• Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.

• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.

• Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience.
