Responsible for:
Preparing food, taking inventory, handling orders!
Food and beverage service according to the cafe's quality and service standards
Operation of cash register
Safety and cleanliness of the cafe and service area
Offering a high standard of customer service to match the high standard of our reputation
Increasing sales at all opportunities through suggestive selling
Creating a harmonious environment amongst all staff within the venue
Provide professional and friendly assistance and directions to guests and co-workers.
Other related duties as assigned.
Main activities:
Take orders at the counter, serve and clear tables with food and beverages as required
Wash and clean plates, equipment and kitchen areas as required
Communicate with the manager regarding any changes or problems with service
Operate the cash register to ensure a high level of accuracy and honesty
Equipment includes, but not limited to: grills, fryers, ovens, ice cream machines, soda machines, and food vending carts!
Ensure the safety of other staff and patrons during service and after leaving
Maintain hygienic food handling practices and cleanliness
Maintain the cleanliness of all parts of the cafe area
Maintain and report on cafe stock levels and security as directed
Carry out any other duties as advised from time to time
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to start 3/27-4/2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Time management skills
Excellent customer service
Minimum 1-year experience in the food service industry
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Must complete food handler certification and other required training

Authorized to work in the US
High School graduate or (GED) equivalent preferred.
Multilingual ability, Spanish fluency a plus!
