What You'll Bring:
Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a crucial leadership role within TransUnion's (TU) InfoSec organization that is responsible for all aspects of our IAM program, from defining strategy and roadmaps to leading technical teams in executing and delivering all IAM related technologies and services. This role reports to the global Vice President of Security Engineering and Architecture.

  • 5+ years of Information Security / Cyber experience
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on engineering experience in Identity space, to include Data Center and public Cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, delivering, and supporting large scale, distributed implementations.
  • 3-4 years of designing and delivering security solutions in an environment that embraces DevOps and IaC concepts and common technologies, with a focus on pipeline security automation (DevSecOps).
  • 2-3 years successfully delivering in an Agile environment, working closely with Product Owners and customers.
  • Deep understanding of IAM constructs, including MFA, SSO, IDM, PAM, and others, across data center, private cloud, and public cloud environments.
  • Strong, demonstrated experience as a strategic leader in the IAM space
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying and operating highly resilient, scalable in-line technologies that have significant business impact in the event of failure.

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.

We'd Love to See:
  • Modern engineering, full stack mindset (IaC, API-driven interaction, automation of service delivery, fully performance telemetry, etc.), with strong background of delivering and supporting a combination of vendor and open source solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering and maintain highly distributed solutions at global scale.
  • Ability to straddle and deliver in traditional/legacy (Data Center, physical infrastructure) and modern/next-gen (Cloud, IaaS, DevSecOps) technology constructs simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation of security components in public cloud, utilizing IaC and CI/CD practices.
  • Affinity for optimization and desire to continuously improve services through automation of technology and traditionally manual processes.
  • Strong comfort level with emerging technologies and keenness to prototype new ways to getting results
  • Technology agnostic approach, bringing to bear what is needed to achieve the desired outcome.
  • A natural curiosity

Impact You'll Make:
  • Lead all aspects of Identity and Access Management program for a publically traded, multinational company. This includes all strategy, technology, and ops, in a DevOps model.
  • Act as the fully accountable party for all IAM-related services including, but not limited to, IdM, Privileged Access Management, SSO, MFA, and IAM Operations.
  • Own and drive IAM strategy for the company to span legacy environments and newly built public cloud environment(s), to include all technology decisions and associated budget.
  • Lead a team of 30+ associates, including managers, globally; provide regular and meaningful performance feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Regularly interact with executive leaders and drive IAM strategy through influence, including with C-level.
  • Act as SME for IAM related matters in compliance and regulatory agency engagements and customer audits.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on security issues and provide expert level consultation to the business units.
  • Provide security review and guidance for projects driven by groups outside of Information Security, specifically developing security requirements and developing secure designs.
  • Establishes strategic direction of Security Architecture team.
  • Assists in the development of Information Security Strategy and 3-Year Roadmap for all Security Technology domains.
  • Authors security standards and procedures as they relate to IAM
