Job Details:
Position is 1099 (better for your taxes, having your own business is a plus but not required)
Start time Monday-Friday 6:30-8am end time 3-6pm (Addison, IL)
Weekends: Only 3-4 hours but paid 6 hours minimum. At least 1 day is required. During busy season both days required. We aim to get you some weekends off depending on volume and work with your schedule.
90% of the freight is dedicated so you will be at the same locations. Trailers are all 53ft ( Having air freight experience is a plus but not required as we will train you.)
We pay per load a guaranteed hours even when you finish quicker. Example 1 load even if it takes 1 hour we guarantee $175, 2 loads we guarantee $225-250 depending on the load, if you finish 3 loads we guarantee $300-325 depending on the load. If you do extra hours it will be more at $25 an hour.
Clean record is required for TSA Certifications. (Background checks are performed by our customers prior to hire)
Deliver and transport goods safely and on time (no touch freight)
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 YEAR MINIMUM CDL-A EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
MINIMUM 24 YEARS OLD.
NO BAC, DUI, OR DWI (PAST 5 YEARS)
MAXIMUM OF 3 MOVING VIOLATIONS (PAST 2 YEARS)
