OTR Trucking company seeking safety and maintenance manager
responsibilities include but are not limited to
Daily audit of drivers HOS and logs
Maintenance of Documents required by DOT regulations
Compliance with all company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, policies, and procedures
Collection and submission of information for insurance claims and claims handled in house
Implementation of driver safety program
Identify training needs and conduct proactive safety related training
Develop and manage process for Driver Log audit and corrections, including electronic logs

The lead role and responsibility of a maintenance manager is to ensure that our fleet's equipment is available, dependable and safe at all times.
Oversee maintenance of the trucks, preventatives, and ensure compliance with our company's policies, and government regulations.
Ensure the maintenance records for fleet are accurate and up-to-date.
Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies.
Complete performance reviews of drivers determine areas of development and training requirements.
Communicate maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and implement correction actions as required.
Ensure successful completion of any truck repairs and or maintenance work that need to be done.
