CONTRACT TO HIRE position
The Senior Programmer Analyst will be a key contributor to our Web Applications platform utilizing Azure / Microsoft 365 and On-Premise Infrastructure to satisfy requirements.
Responsibilities include maintaining internal and external facing web applications using the Microsoft “stack” including ASP.NET and Sharepoint as well as client-side browser technologies (e.g., JavaScript). This person will work with a team of experienced BI Developers, Mobile App Developers, QA, Web Developers and QAD resources to build enterprise systems that improve business productivity and support operations. It is important that candidates have a strong background in building beautiful, scalable, maintainable, high-quality, and high-performing web applications.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Efforts in requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, developing use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications.
• Develop custom web applications for Azure Cloud deployment and Sharepoint using Visual Studio based on specifications and technical designs.
• Develop REST APIs and write Stored procedures to create integrations with applications and databases
• Operate in an Agile Development Environment based on Sprints and provide timely deliverables
• Create rich web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create server-side functionality using object-oriented design principles.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the offshore development teams and help maintain proper communication
• Take responsibility for feature-focused unit and system testing (built both by you and others).
• Contribute to UAT, performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in computer–related field
• 5-10 years of ASP. NET / C# development experience especially with MVC 4.0 framework
• Experience working with Sharepoint Framework on Office 365
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and current design patterns/practices.
• Strong Data Warehousing experience with an understanding of database structures, design, theories and principles.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of:
• The .NET Framework including Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Client-side browser technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience writing Stored Procedures and Functions in SQL Server
• Experience with AJAX, JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap Framework
• API Development and experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
• Minimum 3 years of Azure Experience – PaaS Compute, Storage, and Sql / NoSql Databases
• Experience with Object Relational Modeling (ORM) with different tools such as Entity Framework (and/or nHibernate) and LINQ.
• Ability to interface with customers and provide group and one-on-one support and training
• Ability to work with all staff levels to ensure proper communication of project status and to identify and escalate issues as appropriate
• Experience working with offshore development teams

• Advanced degree in computer-related field
• Azure Developer Associate Certification
• PowerApps Development
• Writing Azure Functions and Azure API management experience
• Working with Azure DevOps and leveraging CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with BI tools such as SSIS and Power BI
