Carousel Checks prints secure financial documents for individuals, businesses and financial institutions, is looking for a full time, Junior Web Developer to join our IT Graphics team.
A successful candidate will have demonstrable experience building real websites and able to make a meaningful contribution from day one. You must be comfortable working with team members at all levels and departments within the organization. You must be willing to share your opinions and insights with business leaders in order to effect rapid decision cycles and effective technical solutions to business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Front-end design using HTML and CSS
Develop high-quality web sites in a collaborative environment with a team of talented designers and programmers
Develop and design websites using our in-house Content Management System
Transforms designed static mock ups into fully functional websites
Check markup validity of HTML and CSS for W3C compliance
This position requires successfully independent collaboration as well as with others
Testing User Interfaces in both front end and back end programs
Putting together weekly marketing emails in collaboration with the Marketing Department and Graphics
Edit front end content for live and staged sites using version control programs
Upload necessary files onto the server via ftp programs
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Photoshop/Illustrator experience a plus
Flash and AJAX experience a plus
JQuery experience a plus
Angular PHP/MySQL and JavaScript experience a plus
Must be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
Must know responsive design with CSS or at least the conceptual understanding of what looks best on mobile devices
