The main function of an Business Analyst is to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formation, or other managerial functions. A typical Business Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data and developing decision support software.
This role will be hybrid. Tracks key themes of incidents/defects raised and helps track the business priorities and knowing when fix packs will be deployed and ensuring validation by testing team
This position will play a key role in the Pharmacy Renewal, Product Enablement team.
Responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting data, supporting product managers and UX with the design and implementation of Pharmacy Renewal, and user acceptance test case creation and testing.
This position will also play a key role in working cross-functionally with on-shore/off-shore partners including IT, RunOps, Engineering, Product Management, Business Readiness, Compliance, Business Engagement, and Pharmacy team members to resolve/remediate any and all system defects as reported by our stores and will also include adhoc assignments as they develop.
Responsible for collecting and summarizing data that will assist Pharmacy and Retail Operations management in both long- and short-range strategic planning, and the development and implementation of programs.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of business processes and practices pertaining to all aspects of Pharmacy and Retail Operations within the Retail Hub.
Analyzes corresponding data to effectively recommend system and operational procedure changes, enhancements, development of functional specifications or interface opportunities with costs and or return on investment summarized.
Serves as operation point of contact for various projects to drive project execution.
Communicates relevant project information to stakeholders, both corporately and in the field.
Collects, analyzes, makes specific recommendations, and presents information pertaining to proposed programs to meet the business and strategic goals of Pharmacy and Retail Operations and Company.
Plans, designs and deploys appropriate reports and tools. Collaborates across Pharmacy and Retail Operations, IT, legal and regulatory, process improvement teams, and others, to develop operational solutions.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, statistics, mathematics or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
8-10 years experience required
Experience in operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, or data modeling
Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time
