This role will be solely focused in BAS and primarily working with HVAC controls, think boilers, chillers etc. Candidates could expect to travel as far southeast as Valparaiso, south to Kankakee, as far northwest as Rockford and as far north as Milwaukee.
Loading programs on their computers, load and navigate them, block programming, need electrical knowledge to deal with signals to troubleshoot and make sure program works and is sending I/O’s they need to be able to, be able to read submittals/mechanical and be able to know what their responsibility is and who’s trade is responsible for what.
95% of time will be troubleshooting problems: electrical troubleshooting, power systems, sensors, network troubleshooting, troubleshooting computers, OS’s, troubleshooting mechanical sequences, troubleshooting drawing issues, etc.
They measure performance in this role by attitude, effort, and willingness to try and come up with solutions to execute.
This candidate MUST HAVE experience working with BAS.
Travel is expected between 90-100% of the time, but it will be local to Chicagoland.
There is opportunity for overnights, but it is not required.
Will receive company vehicle after 12 months of employment.
Prior to this, candidates will be expected to use their own vehicle, but will be paid 65 cents per mile driven.
Will work remotely when not at customer sites.
Tools, laptop, etc. will all be provided.
