Resource 1 is looking for a Sr. Identity and Access Management Engineer for our client on the north side of Chicago. Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer to that has demonstrated the ability to lead technical initiatives to implement, support, and administer identity and access management services, authentication/authorization services for key identity systems within an enterprise environment. This position is perfect for someone who wants to set the direction for IAM engineering efforts, drive the technology architecture, and work with the team to deliver projects, support resilient systems, and implement automated processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as computer science, information technology, or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting configuration management and integration points for identity services infrastructure and applications, multi-factor authentication, and SSO.
  • Experience working with methods of authentication, authorization, access, and group management, including any of the following; SAML2, OAuth, MFA, and LDAP/ADFS, Grouper
  • Working experience with IAM technologies including any of the following: SailPoint or Okta, LDAP, SSO or shibboleth experience and knowledge base of knowing how those work together
  • Knowledge of public sector IAM processes and technology.
  • Experience leveraging message queues, API managers, and web services to build application integration service
  • Experience in building and supporting Application connectors from SailPoint IIQ to various Endpoint Application repositories

Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Project or equivalent tools
  • Experience using a systematic approach for problem analysis and resolution and the resourceful evaluation of solution alternatives.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a broad cross-section of the community.
