We are one block walk to the nearest Metra station, and it is a quick 20-minute train ride to downtown Chicago, museums, lakefront and activities.Summary / what you will do:The Human Resources Intern will combine their education with practical HR experience in core HR areas. This intern will work with the Corporate Talent Team on a variety of assignments that may include projects around talent acquisition, talent management or supporting other functional groups at ITW Corporate.Primary Responsibilities:Partner with the Corporate Talent Team on a variety of projects.
Assist and support ITW’s Enterprise Intern Program
Participate in the recruitment process of candidates for a variety of job functions
Support other functional areas (i.e. Employee Communications, Corporate HR, etc.)
Additional duties & projects may be assigned
What we are looking for:Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Economics, or related disciples
Leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills and activities demonstrated through professional, community or extracurricular involvement
Basic understanding of Human Resources and a desire to pursue a career in HR
Eagerness to learn, demonstrated curiosity and a drive to excel
