Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

• Create core competitive document based on cordless finish nailers
• Develop competitive tool testing plan that can be leveraged across other Paslode nailers
• Create a demo video and 1 page “How To” explaining how to conduct competitive testing
• Review and analyze current market trends based on various Research Reports
• Conduct Retail walks to understand how competitors and Paslode appear in Market
• Conduct Jobsite visits to understand how end users operate and utilize tools
• Share bi-weekly report outs of learnings
• Work with cross functional team engineering (GTU), global product managers, and sales to understand potential market and growth opportunity
• Deliver final report showing competitive analysis, testing plans, and opportunities for Cordless Nailer growth

Expected Learnings:

• Fundamentals of creating and executing end user research
• Creation and execution of test plans
• Understand product lifecycles
• Determine how to translate end user feedback into a tangible product

Qualifications

• Rising Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Detailed oriented, comfortable researching,generating and compiling data
• Basic Microsoft office, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Effective communication
• Eagerness to learn and evaluate new information
• Ability to be mobile and flex between Glenview office, store and site visits

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, within typical manufacturing plant working conditions. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment.
