Resource 1 is seeking a Sr. IT Process Leader/Advisor with a background in manufacturing/supply chain skilled in driving enterprise value through effective application of technology and data-driven process improvement. This is a 6-month contract-for-hire. This position's primary function is to develop and educate IT Managers on "proven practice processes" on a variety of IT topics.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:

• Prior experience in an IT Leadership role at a mid-sized manufacturing company - $100-250 million in revenue is ideal for this position.
• Prior experience working with or implementing software that is commonly used in a manufacturing company such as ERP, Cybersecurity, Asset Management, etc.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to build rapport with IT leaders and teams around the world.
• Ability to research topics and distill key ideas.
• Strong planning skills, as well as the drive to get things done.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a decentralized, entrepreneurial culture.
• Strategic thinking and practicality as it relates to process improvements.
• Willingness to be the consultant/advisor vs. the decision-maker.
• Strong desire to teach and develop others; the ability to influence without a direct reporting relationship.
• Mergers, acquisitions, and corporate integrations experience would be helpful

• Advise and support IT managers in using company-wide enterprise IT strategies/programs that maximize best practices.
• IT Enterprise strategy development, operational planning, process improvement, creating/maintaining instructional documents for best practices, ERP evaluation, implementation, and vendor relations procurement.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvements.
• Management of documents, records, and operational workflows.
• Outsourcing and vendor relationship management.
• Technology migration and operations management.
• Host IT webinars about emerging technologies, IT success stories from around the company, and other topics of interest.
