Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Professional Environmental Engineers, Inc. (PE) is a full-service environmental consulting firm that specializes in providing cost-effective environmental solutions for both government and commercial clientele. PE is looking for support on a project site in LaSalle, IL and looking for someone to serve as Quality Assurance Representative III to support a local project. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
⢠8 years of experience in construction with 6 years of experience in heavy civil projects
⢠High School Diploma
⢠OSHA 40 hour Hazardous Material & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification plus the 8 hour refresher if applicable
⢠US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management Training
Job responsibilities will include:
⢠Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications
⢠Submit daily quality assurance reports in in sufficient detail to reflect accurately the quality assurance activities performed
⢠Assist with evaluating potential changed conditions in the field
⢠Assist with evaluating quantities for contractor payment purposes
⢠May be required to have interaction with property owners during remediation activities
Other details include:
⢠The work week will be Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day. Time to commute to the site each day will not be considered part of the paid work day.
⢠This is considered a local position such that travel expenses to commute will not be reimbursed.
⢠The work, which spans the construction season, will begin tentatively on June 24th and last until the end of November. The work will pick back up in April and last through November.
⢠The applicant must have a valid driverâs license.
