IT Lead - Payroll and Incentive Compensation

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Lead to join our team to oversee the technology platforms and applications that support the company’s payroll, time, incentive compensation, etc. applications and operations. The IT Lead – Payroll & Sales Performance Applications is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and enhancement of systems related to payroll and sales performance management applications. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of these critical applications, troubleshooting issues, implementing system upgrades, and collaborating with key stakeholders in HR, finance, IT, etc. to align system capabilities with business needs. The IT Lead plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, system performance, integrations, compliance, etc. with our payroll, time and sales performance management applications.Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for time, payroll and sales performance management systems, resolving system issues and ensuring optimal performance.

Address user queries and troubleshoot issues related to payroll processing, time processing, compensation management, etc.

Ensure timely resolution of system issues to prevent disruptions in time, payroll processing and sales incentive applications.

Lead technical development of new pay plans and changes to existing pay plans from requirements gathering to configuration, deployment and continuous support.

Lead the execution of system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal impact on payroll processing and sales compensation operations.

Coordinate testing and validation of system changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Collaborate closely with HR, finance, accounting, IT, etc. teams to understand business requirements and ensure system configurations meet operational needs. Provide training and technical guidance to end users for system functionalities and updates.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across systems, performing regular data reconciliations and troubleshooting discrepancies.

Support the generation of reports, sales compensation analytics, and incentive payout reports for HR, finance, and sales teams.

Maintain and monitor system access controls, ensuring sensitive employee and compensation data is protected. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant system documentation and access records.

Proactively seek avenues for adopting best practices and innovative approaches to addressing problems and facilitating change in payroll and time processing.

Assist in the implementation of any new payroll, time, sales performance system modules or features, working closely with project management teams.

Lead system integration projects, user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support to ensure system stability.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

5+ years of experience in IT systems support, with a focus on supporting payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday Payroll, Ceridian, etc.) and sales performance management applications (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, SPIFF, CallidusCloud, etc.)

Strong understanding and hands-on experience of payroll, time, incentive compensation, etc.

Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to payroll and compensation processes.

Proven experience with system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

General Compensation DisclosureThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated.
