Under minimum supervision, prepares studies on new and current business opportunities,issues and programs, including collecting and analyzing economic, technological, industry,customer, competitor, and other similar data. Evaluates the potential of new businessventures or additions to current business lines by analyzing markets, costs, benefits, andgrowth potential. Works with staff and management to prepare business, financial andoperations plans for new and current business opportunities. Assists operational managementin developing long-range and annual strategic plans, and capacity plans. Assists in trackingand evaluating plan results and developing corrective actions.

  • Analyzes information regarding customers, products, markets, geographies, issues and competitors to develop new and current business studies.
  • Interprets information to determine the costs and potential benefits of entering or remaining in markets.
  • Examines corporate strategies and goals to determine areas where business analysis should be focused.
  • Prepares customer, competitor, country, market and industry analyses and profiles, as well as business venture studies and research reports.
  • Prepares analyses of new business ventures and expansions of current lines of business, including analyses of markets, costs, benefits, and growth potential.
  • Analyzes client needs and product features to develop strategy presentations to middle and senior management.
  • Provides guidance in the implementation of business plans to involved parties.
  • Leads and facilitates the development of business plans, capacity plans and strategies to compete and expand services in various markets.
  • Assists in developing business plan monitoring systems to analyze and interpret client feedback.
  • Communicates business and strategic plan objectives to regional and local management.
  • Develops business plans to support Board of Directors level funding requests for major investments in new facilities and facility expansions within either the Asia Pacific, Europe or Latin America region.
  • Works closely with regional operations to develop long-range strategic plans and annual unit operating plans for the region.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


University Degree in Business Administration or a related field.Six years professional level experience within the field of specialization, which includes Level 1 supervisory skills.
