Title: IT Desktop Analyst- Service Now Experience a must Duration: 12 MonthsLocation: Abbott Park, IL
Candidate needs to understand and know ServiceNow.
Requested resource should have minimum of a year of current experience with ServiceNow processing Catalog tasks and Incidents.
Software licensing knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of desktop systems - software and deployment of desktops and laptops.
Resource should have excellent Excel skills and be able to use advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and embedded formulas. Interviews to be conducted week before Christmas.
This is a non-exempt role.
The IT DESKTOP ASSET SPECIALIST II assist in desktop hardware and software procurement, deployment, control and compliance.
Assist in maintaining software license compliance. Adhere to purchasing system policy and overall Abbott purchasing requirements.
Ensure that the desktop hardware and software asset inventory systems are maintained and accurate.
Responsible for assisting in the effectiveness of the PC hardware and software asset system.
Support PC replacement processes according to policy.
Assist in providing metrics necessary to support desktop asset functions.
Assist in maintaining accurate and updated hardware and software information in the inventory database.
Maintains productive relationships with peers and management in IT and the business function.
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred High School graduate with sufficient experience in computer operations or finance helpful.
No advanced degree required.
1-3 years of experience.
Basic knowledge of regulations and standards affecting desktop software and hardware compliance.
Basic knowledge in the use of the entire Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent Customer support skills.
Basic knowledge in records keeping, statistical analysis and reporting.
Some knowledge of desktop operating systems and application support.
