Title

: IT Desktop Analyst- Service Now Experience a must

Duration: 12 Months

  • Candidate needs to understand and know ServiceNow.
  • Requested resource should have minimum of a year of current experience with ServiceNow processing Catalog tasks and Incidents.
  • Software licensing knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of desktop systems - software and deployment of desktops and laptops.
  • Resource should have excellent Excel skills and be able to use advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and embedded formulas. Interviews to be conducted week before Christmas.
  • This is a non-exempt role.
  • The IT DESKTOP ASSET SPECIALIST II assist in desktop hardware and software procurement, deployment, control and compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining software license compliance. Adhere to purchasing system policy and overall Abbott purchasing requirements.
  • Ensure that the desktop hardware and software asset inventory systems are maintained and accurate.
  • Responsible for assisting in the effectiveness of the PC hardware and software asset system.
  • Support PC replacement processes according to policy.
  • Assist in providing metrics necessary to support desktop asset functions.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and updated hardware and software information in the inventory database.
  • Maintains productive relationships with peers and management in IT and the business function.

Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred High School graduate with sufficient experience in computer operations or finance helpful.
  • No advanced degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Basic knowledge of regulations and standards affecting desktop software and hardware compliance.
  • Basic knowledge in the use of the entire Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent Customer support skills.
  • Basic knowledge in records keeping, statistical analysis and reporting.
  • Some knowledge of desktop operating systems and application support.
