My Pharmaceutical Client is looking for a

Web Content Specialist to remotely support their North Chicago Headquarters.

This position is 100% Remote

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 4+ years of demonstrable experience in a web manager or content management role.


Skills/Experience Requirements


  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.



    • 4+ years of proven experience working with Adobe Experience Manager. (Preferred)



  • Experience and strong knowledge of authoring pages in Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Ability to troubleshoot content authoring and front-end functionality issues using web debug tools.

  • Proficiency in using site quality tools like Siteimprove or similar.

  • Proficiency in using video management and steaming tools Brightcove or similar.

  • Should have worked in projects with agile methodologies, scrum and Kanban frameworks.

  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and formatting skillset.

  • Familiarity with Adobe and/or google analytics.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, for image formatting and editing.

  • Solid understanding of user experience design patterns, web conventions, and information hierarchy.


Description


  • The IT Technical Web Content Specialist provides in-depth technical expertise and direction on any content and design changes for a variety of web sites on the client's Corporate Web Content Management platform.

  • They will support digital programs, and associated technical solutions developed on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.

  • The individual will partner with various business stakeholders, technology leads, external agencies and partners.

  • The individual will operate as a content and branding subject matter expert and will be the point person for all CMS activities on the AEM platform.

  • They will report directly to the AEM Manager as part of the Communications & Strategies organization.


Primary Responsibilities/Duties


  • Serve as the technology development subject matter expert for content using the Adobe Experience Manager platform by collaborating closely with business and other IT partners.

  • Responsible for enterprise site level content authoring experience working with a multisite manager on a large framework.

  • Responsible for selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing textual and digital content as well to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and stakeholder inputs.

  • Work with digital marketing team to create/convert content, update, maintain and manage content.

  • Responsible for digital asset management (DAM) performing upload, copy, image editing, tagging, and SEO metadata.

  • Perform regular site quality assurance checks using Siteimprove, create and schedule report delivery to business stakeholders.

  • Work with development and other internal team members on project implementation and launch activities, including stand-up meetings, defect resolution, acceptance testing, etc.

  • Responsible for testing websites/applications from content authoring and end user point of view during major enhancements, platform upgrades and patch deployments.

  • Responsible to track requests using JIRA, update status regularly, and present overall daily/weekly status to stakeholders.
