Position Title: Business & Quality Analyst Major Chicago-land north suburban not for profit corporation is in need of a Business & Systems Integration Analyst to join their IT management team. Candidates should be an experienced Business Systems Analyst who is also steeped in all aspects of Quality Assurance and Testing. The Business & Systems Analyst, partners with business, operational units and other Information Services (IS) team members to successfully achieve project deliverables. This role helps the business implement technology solutions by supporting all phases of the project life-cycle – from analysis of business requirements and performance testing through production delivery. In addition, the Business & Systems Integration Specialist communicates effectively with both internal and external teams, produces clear and comprehensive documentation, and interacts effectively with end-users. Responsibilities include:
Provide system testing by doing functional testing and assuring the application performs to required specs
Track and manage defects
Work with and support users in areas of User Acceptance
Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical staff and consultants throughout the various phases of the project life cycle.
Experience working with roll-outs, Upgrade implementations or other IT Operations based projects a plus
Coordinate the system test effort to ensure functional requirements coverage, and manage defects and report testing related statistics.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated experience and through understanding of all aspects of the SDLC and Agile.
Demonstrated knowledge and background with hands-on doing systems testing, functional testing experience
A solid understanding and experience performing in the role of test analyst
Experienced in systems and functional testing
Experienced in facilitation of all testing through User Acceptance
Basic skills in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
Solid knowledge of testing, testing concepts and process.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, organization, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Highly organised and detail oriented
Excellent Communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience using Oracle Test Manager (OTM) or HP Quality Center for defect tracking
Education:
Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience
