Marketing Consultant – Cat.com OptimizationDescriptionThe Cat.com Optimization role is part of the Global Digital Customer Engagement team and is responsible for managing the overall efforts of the optimization processes at Cat.com. This position will Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to develop, own and manage the A/B testing strategy, road map and execution tasks for Cat.com. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to identify the testing approach, developing ideas, implementing tests and measuring results. Other key responsibilities include:
Identify actionable insights from testing results to inform experience improvements
Partner with site owners to complete assessments of non-cat.com sites to determine feasibility of integration
Determine value of existing capabilities of the sites to determine priority for inclusion within Cat.com
Develop actionable plans for migrating microsites and BU digital properties into Cat.com
Optimize customer experience on all Cat owned sites through analysis of BU utilization of content and through recommendations for improvement
Works as a support role within the Digital Customer Experience and/or Web Services team, providing assistance on a variety of tasks and ad hoc projects
Determines or establishes appropriate group forums (by identified marketing personas) for the business marketing partners to foster collaboration and learn of important upcoming announcements, ensuring M&B presence
Conducts individual bi-weekly touchpoints with business marketing partner teams, at the working /operational level, ensuring they maintain an open line of communication at all times
Responds and/or coordinates all incoming education and training requests across business partners
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
Requires a college degree 4-year degree
2 years of working with website platforms
2 years of digital, search, or marketing experience.

Platforms (google analytics preferred)
Demonstrated rack record of identifying and implementing site improvements
Knowledge of A/B testing platforms
Ability to organize and analyze large sets of data
Analytics and reporting skills
Solid understanding of UX / Design / Usability principles
High acumen with data and statistics
Experience with web analytics tools
Business Skills:
Demonstrated ability to problem solve through design thinking methodologies
Adept in assessing customer experience opportunities and communicating rationale for decision-making
Ability to make decisions
