Local Real Estate firm NOW HIRING a Property Manager to manage our apartments in Peoria.
The Property Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the community to ensure that the property meets its monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets. You will be responsible for driving occupancy by identifying and analyzing market conditions. The Property Manager will recruit leasing and maintenance staff and foster a positive team spirit by providing support, training, and mentorship for the on-site team. You will provide outstanding customer service to tenants while complying with all Fair Housing laws and standards. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain desired internal financial benchmarks by maximizing rental income and minimizing vacancy and delinquency loss
Develop and maintain monthly and annual budgets
Build a positive team spirit: support teams efforts to succeed by providing insight, knowledge, training, and mentorship to on-site team
Prepare, deliver and execute sales training programs for the on-site team
Support team with marketing efforts
Analyze and monitor market conditions to anticipate market trends
Monitor closing ratios of leasing associates and provide additional training as necessary
Supervise planning and implementation of community social activities
Inspect property common areas, models, and vacant units on a regular basis
Review and approve or decline resident applications
Review all renewals and prepare budget increase recommendations according to market conditions
Understand and comply with state Landlord-Tenant laws and Fair Housing laws and standards
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years cumulative management experience
Strong management and organizational skills
Experience hiring and training new employees
Excellent problem solver, able to identify creative solutions with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
