We are currently looking for a Process Technician for our client.Duties:Operate, control and monitor various process equipment including make-up tanks, fermenters, conveyors, rotary valves, pneumatic blowers, pumps, tanks, process piping valves and controls, dryers, scrubbers, centrifuges and evaporators, boilers, turnbine/generator, filters, etc.Apply aseptic protocols and practices for sanitation Observe process control parameters utilizing distributed control system and or field installed local gaugesObtain samples, perform physical, analytical and microbiological tests; record data and follow established protocols to make process adjustments to maintain established parameters; provide input and recommendations related to findingsPerform tasks in confined areas and or inside tanks at heights in extreme temperatures due to weather and process conditionsSkills:2-4 years experience working within the chemical, vegetable oils or pharmaceutical manufacturingHigh School graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferredChemistry or Biology background preferredAbility to work 12 hour shift, working an equal number of days and nights over a 4 week interval.
