This is a contingent position expected to last 2 years. Responsibilities include:Actively participate in daily and weekly Scrum ceremoniesDevelop solutions in Java, Python, or YAML based on User Story requirementsActively participate in on-line code reviews with peersLeverage CI/CD for delivery of workRequirements:Bachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in Java development3+ years of experience in writing and deploying code in AWSProven experience in:
Batch or stream processing systems such as Apache Spark, Flink, Akka, StormMessage brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMq, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache ActiveMQ, KinesisDatastores such as Redis and ElasticsearchCucumber as a testing tool and it’s integration into CI/CD pipelinesExperience working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum)3+ years of experience in Python or Scala development is preferred but not requiredThis position is located in Peoria, IL.
