Breakdown, post and submit funding paperwork for all Sales transactions

Process and post all cash receipts, credit card payments, scanned checks and ACH payments

Maintain Dealership inventory including stocking in new and used inventory, intercompany transfers and monthly floor plan audit

Process and facilitate all payroll and Human Resource paperwork for submission to corporate office

Sort, review and post all vendor invoices and credit card transactions with correct GL coding

Prepare/ provide reports, schedules or requests for additional information on a timely basis to the Area Controller, corporate office or General Manager

Assist the General Manager in running an efficient, organized dealership

Maintain high standards of accuracy and assure compliance with company and other applicable policies and procedures

Provide excellent customer service and maintain vendor/customer relations

Other duties / projects as assigned for the overall benefit of the Dealership

Essential Job Skills:

Excellent knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in maintaining calendars, word processing, spreadsheets (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).

Knowledge of auto dealership accounting systems (IDS, ADP) strongly desired

Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

High level of interpersonal skills to resolve A/P issues.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.

High level of demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands

  • The Registry of Motor Vehicles administers a variety of licensing, registration and public safety-related functions and services. The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is responsible for ensuring that RMV Business Units and RMV programs are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. The CCO establishes standards and implements procedures to identify, prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance within the RMV effectively and efficiently. This plan should include the development of processes, as well as a culture of compliance. · Identify and mitigate agency risks by completing an enterprise-wide risk assessment, manage risk ranking and prioritization, and drive adoption of effective mitigating strategies, controls and protocols. · Identify and respond effectively to emerging new compliance risks. Periodically revising the compliance plan in light of internal (organizational) or external (legal or regulatory) changes. Oversight and Implementation: · Oversight and monitoring of the implementation of the compliance program. · Providing strategic direction to the management team on compliance. · Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports for senior leadership and the MassDOT Board of Directors. · Coordinating internal compliance reviews, risk assessments and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of all RMV departments. Oversees RMV quality control function and reports on findings to relevant senior RMV and MassDOT leadership, MassDOT Board of Directors, etc. · Communicating integrity and values to ensure that adherence to compliance-related policies becomes culturally ingrained throughout the RMV. · Assessing and raising awareness of risks, including those risks that could call the RMVs integrity into question. Investigation and Crisis Management: · Conduct investigations (both independently and in coordination with other MassDOT investigative units) on matters related to RMV compliance. · Develop plans to manage compliance-related crises and violations, including appropriate incident reporting channels.
