TITLE: Head of Enterprise Applications

Job Overview

We are working with a global healthcare services organization who is growing due to acquisition and organic growth. They are currently looking for a Head of Enterprise Applications to leads a high-performing team of technology professionals and stakeholders dedicated to delivery, management, and implementation of our client's enterprise platform portfolio to include Salesforce, Microsoft AX/D365, SharePoint, Contract Management, and other enterprise applications used across the organization.

The complexity of this position requires a leadership approach that is engaging, imaginative, and collaborative, with a sophisticated ability to develop scalable, supportable, maintainable, robust, and high-performing solutions that meet our internal stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic and operational ownership for IT enterprise applications that span Sales, Finance, HR, Business Operations, Product and Technology.
• Develop and lead a collaborative and agile software development approach that delivers measurable business value, while maintaining a strong focus on both quality and scalability.
• Leads and inspires the application teams to engage with the business and identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and develop plans that maximize return on investment for the company.

• Identify emerging technology trends, especially in SaaS and cloud-based distributed systems, and ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value.
• Evaluate installed software solutions and identify areas to improve standards, simplify, enhance functionality and/or transition to solutions to improve supportability.
• Drive the cultural changes necessary to enable a continuous delivery model and foster a strong focus on automation of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Owns the relationship with key vendors, strategic partners, and service providers.
• Define, develop, IT staff and development team members to provide high quality application solutions.

• Manage the expenses (operating and capital) for IT Enterprise Application budgets in conjunction with the finance to ensure all funding request follow the appropriate governance process.
• Leads with a configuration, not customization mindset.
• Develop, implement, and monitor software development policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related field is required.

• Minimum 10 years management experience leading a team responsible for enterprise applications in a senior leadership role.
• Deep subject matter expertise in Salesforce, Microsoft AX/D365 and other EA services.
• Metrics driven leader, with a bias for action. An executor of decisions based on data.
• Prior experience leading digital transformations and designing modern technology delivery capabilities - Cloud, Dev/Ops, continuous development/deployment, agile methodologies, analytics, and RPA/automation.
• Direct experience working with SaaS solutions and leading integration that spans multiple technology platforms and providers.

• Ability to lead through influence and optimize legacy business processes and systems.
• Expertise with managing application development at scale, employing SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
• A process-oriented individual, with strong project management skills, who has the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
• Candidate must have proven ability to resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet all financial and management goals on time consistently and collaboratively. Will be a self-starter who maps their own direction to succeed.
• Able to foster a culture of transparency and have a clear sense of purpose for the team.
