SR. FRONT END DEVELOPER
A global tech-focused organization is actively seeking an experience Sr. Front End Developer to join their growing team. Candidates should be highly technical but also collaborative and able to work with different team to help deliver solutions built for sustainability and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, testers and other software engineers to design, test, code, deliver and maintain software modules within an Agile Scrum environment. Documentation, reporting and updating internal teams on progress around performance is an important part of this role, excellent communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement solutions using HTML, CSS, and Javascript as your tools.
Work with Brand Teams, Product teams, QA, Analytics and stakeholders to understand and communicate progress.
Conceive and build responsive and adaptive solutions for website applications
Work on an Agile team to estimate, develop, test, deploy, and maintain, while collaborating with team members on eComm roadmap and backlog, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective.
Participate in technical design meetings with other developers and assist in defining the front end web architecture, code reviews, and unit testing.
Adhere to pattern-libraries, style guides, site documentation, SDLC.
Coordinate with the front-end development team to ensure adherence to best practices.
Optimize website speed / performance and enhance SEO.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Visual
5+ years of Front End UI development experience
Demonstrated ability building websites using HTML/CSS/Javascript
React experience is required.
Excellent knowledge of CSS and Javascript coding best practices
Ability to build responsive, cross-browser, highly-performant, and accessibility compliant applications (i.e. WCAG)
Knowledge using script framework: ReactJS / Redux lifecycles, AngularJS, Node.js
Proficient in using built-in browser tools like Chrome Developer Tools
Experience working with testing and personalization tools (e.g. Optimizely and/or Adobe Target experience is a plus)
Have prior knowledge or a willingness to learn modern performance monitoring tools and waterfall analysis
Experience with bundlers (WebPack) or build tools (Gulp, Parcel, Rollup) is nice to have
Have a deep understanding of modern web development techniques and how to apply new technologies to improve the architecture and boost page speed
Have worked with Twitter Bootstrap or Foundation or the like. You know about CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS)
Understands DOM construction and CSSOM and what impacts rendering, layout, and painting on page
Experience with Waterfall analysis
Experience with Lighthouse reporting
Webpage test scripting knowledge, Google Search Console, Core Web Vitals, a plus
Knowledge of service workers, a plus
Understanding of Image compression and formats
Understanding of Http/2 protocol
Strong communicator and effective in conveying message to business owner, product management, design, user experience, and QA
Liaison to brand teams, developers, and business teams, not just a heads-down developer

Experience with JIRA preferred
