Segula Technologies is seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer for Internal Logistics Engineering to support new product introductions at a major OEM facility. This role focuses on optimal material delivery methodology of both automatic and manual delivery—ensuring production lines meet performance, no downtime due to material shortage and ramp-up in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for equipment and automationWork with the materials strategy team in developing standard and custom equipment. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliersMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Procurement & Vendor ManagementSource and evaluate suppliers for all material handling equipmentNegotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurementManage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.Installation & CommissioningOversee installation, testing, and commissioning of all material handling equipment.Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.
Budget & ReportingTrack project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.
