Created in 2018 by bringing together Rockwell Collins and UTC Aerospace Systems, Collins Aerospace has the capabilities, comprehensive portfolio and expertise to solve customers’ toughest challenges and to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global market.Support the Controls product line (Generator Controllers, Bus Power Controllers) that are in the Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Verification, or Production phase:
Support drawing changes as needed
Evaluate & participate in mechanical design reviews
Support qualification testing and documentation (test procedures and test reports and similarity analysis reports), if applicable
Assist with RRCAs of hardware failures, if applicable
Support Standard Work evidence generation and uploading, if applicable
Support production (7-digit) drawing creation and releases, if applicable
Provide support for ongoing Product Support Engineering for Supplier Requests (SRI’s) or Parts Obsolescence activities:
Analyze and develop effective solutions for specific problems identified by supplier issues. Collaborate with cross-functional Engineering groups for seamless correction action, if applicable
Perform read-across of like hardware for potential need of correction action(s), if applicable
Support 8D Clinic activities, if applicable
Basic Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution
Must have GPA of 3.0
Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
Requires US citizenship or permanent residence (green card).
