Immediate openings for Mig and Tig Welders with our South Beloit Client. Temp to hire position. 1st shift. Hours are 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm with possible overtime on Fridays.
Description:
Fabricate products using fixtures to weld pieces together according to build card and drawings.
Essential Functions
Read built cards to determine what fixture and proper setup is needed
Setup fixtures appropriately
Examine completed work pieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces, and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
Grind out burrs and sharp edges, using grinders
Use forklifts to move parts as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must pass a welding test
Background check and drug screen required
