As IT Senior Systems Engineer, you will enable our client’s businesses across North America through the exceptional deployment and operation of modern technology. This role is responsible for business enablement, systems strategy, capacity management, performance management, preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and working with various technologies. Within this role, you would have the opportunity to manage the planning and execution of technology, contribution to strategic planning within Systems and Network Infrastructure Stack (both on-prem and Cloud technology), and creation of reference designs and deployment as a subject matter expert. An ideal candidate would be a subject-matter expert in Microsoft and Azure Technologies

Responsibilities:

• Investigates and resolves business system impacts focused on infrastructure enablement.
• Be responsible for resolving escalated services issues
• Think outside of the box to implement innovative and effective solutions
• Be a terrific partner across the various businesses to deliver business outcomes through the effective and efficient use of technology.
• Responsible for documenting new and existing systems including system diagrams, and operational support documents and assist in training other team members
• Work with team to ensure project deliverables are completed efficiently
• Automate repeatable tasks and processes
• Delivery of solutions to complex problems in a global environment

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• Cloud, AWS, Azure, Infrastructure, and Networking experience
• Comfortable being a go-to resource for others
• 5-8 years of relevant business experience as a systems/cloud engineer in a corporate IT environment
• Experience with Active Directory in a complex multi-domain environment, Azure AD & SSO
• Experience creating and managing GPOs, DNS, DHCP in a large preferably global environment
• Experience scripting and automating tasks and processes using Powershell
• Hands on experience with Azure building repeatable design patterns for common deployment
• Experience with the following Azure technologies: Azure Storage, Azure SQL, DNS Zones, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Web Apps, Azure native monitoring/alerting, Azure VMs, Logic/Functions Apps
• Experience migrating on-premise workloads into modern cloud solutions
• Experience with infrastructure as code template build and deployment (Terraform or Bicep)
• Strong Office 365 administration experience including Microsoft Intune for Endpoint Management
