Sentinel is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for one of its Chicago area partners. You will be the go to person for all things IT for this organization. This will include system/software and infrastructure design, deployment, support and administration. As a senior resource you will keep up with day to day IT management of this 80 person multilocation organization to keep everything running smoothly. You will also be responsible for vendor management when it comes to working on new solutions and projects.

This is a 100% onsite Direct Hire opportunity located in Schaumburg, IL.

Requirements:

• Senior level experience supporting Systems and Software – Windows, O365 and industry software.
• Senior level experience with infrastructure to include networking, storage and virtualization
• Experience managing projects and vendors on projects
• Successful ability to work assertively and independently on maintaining a highly available IT environment with multiple local locations
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
