The President Abraham Lincoln Springfield, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is set in the heart of historic downtown. Our Springfield, IL hotel is the closest hotel to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library. This is a Full-Time position, rotating schedules, starting as early as 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Weekends and holidays required. Hours vary based on business needs Starting pay is $4.95 per hour + tips, Paid Time Off (PTO), Full Health & Welfare benefit plans, and Team Member and Family Travel Program Benefits! As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerEnsure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specialsTake guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale systemRetrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely mannerEnsure guest satisfaction throughout the meal serviceServe alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulationsEnsure serving station is well-stocked at all timesWhat are we looking for?
