Start hereA Supply Chain Manager’s primary role is to translate the strategic business portfolio, new and on-going client project orders, and other resource-critical work within the facility into a manageable portfolio of project plans that can be scheduled, implemented, and monitored for compliance with commitments made to clients. This may include overseeing, and developing as needed, material control procedures and practices for effective identification, set-up, and procurement of materials, and release requirements and specifications for manufacturing and packaging materials, inventory control procedures for full traceability and accountability of materials through receipt, issuance, and consumption.The Manager, Supply Chain will be significantly focused on staff development which is imperative to ensuring the safety and well-being of the patients who rely on the efforts of the employees in the Catalent Indiana facility.The Role

Creating and maintaining standard processes to aid in more efficient on-boarding of projects through:

Standardization of material offerings and procurement practices

More accurate forecasting and scheduling of work with well-defined understanding of capacity and utilization of resources

Robust inventory management policies and procedures

Supporting Business Development and Project Management in new business acquisition and client relationship management

Working cross-functionally with quality, technical services, operations, maintenance, validation and engineering to understand and optimize internal processes

Works collaboratively with global procurement to identify cost savings

The Candidate

Bachelor’s degree preferred

4-6 years of leadership experience

JDE 9.1 Experience highly preferred

1 year GMP experience required
