Start herePlanning Operations SpecialistPosition SummaryCatalent is seeking a Planning Operations Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in Bloomington, Indiana. Catalent’s facility in Bloomington provides a fully integrated and unique model for process development, clinical and commercial mammalian cell culture manufacturing, formulation, parenteral drug manufacturing and packaging under one roof. The award-winning facility provides clinical and commercial bulk drug substance and drug product manufacturing, including liquid and lyophilized vials, and prefilled syringes, along with an array of support services.In this role you will be working in a fast-paced, performance driven, customer focused, collaborative and inclusive environment providing on-site planning, operations, and JDE support to Supply Chain and Manufacturing departments.The Role
You will maintain Bills of Materials, Work Centers and associated Routings in JDE
You will monitor Work Orders, Parts List, Allocations, and WO Status in JDE
You will provide day-to-day support to Operations Planning for planning and scheduling activities
You will be supporting on-the-floor production activities and resolution of issues in a timely manner
You will be serving as a resource for deviations and investigations related to or involving JDE P2E pillar
The Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in business or Operations
4-6 years progressive experience in the JDE ERP system
2-4 years’ experience in planning and scheduling
Experience with ERP implementation (JDE) & continuous improvement
Physical Requirements:
Sit and work with computer and hand-held scanner for up to 8 hours per day
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, writing, and listening
Reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds
