Looking to hire executive chef
Job description:
We are looking to hire a commendable Executive Chef to manage our growing kitchen
and restaurant staff. The executive chef will attract and retain staff members, maintain
cooperative relationships with staff members, optimize staff productivity and serve as
replacement in staff absence. You will train staff to use new recipes, cooking techniques
and equipment, and oversee cooks performing food preparation and daily task. You will
oversee delivery of food supplies, and supervise overall kitchen operations during
service hours.
Executive Chef responsibilities:
Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of all dishes.
Coordinate daily task of entire kitchen staff
Implementing hygiene policy and daily checks of equipment for cleanliness
Review staffing levels to reflect service, operainal, and financial objections
Hiring and training kitchen staff
Performing daily administration task
Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff
Executive Chef requirements:
2+ years in similar role
Knowledge of profession and practices
Knowledge of human resource management
Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering, and inventory
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Available to work on call shifts, weekends, and late night shift if need be.
