Private barn with 6 horses located in south-east Bloomington, IN. We are looking for a part-time groom who is willing to work around 3 Saturdays/Sundays a month and have the flexibility to work potential possible shifts during the week. Working schedule includes shifts from 7:30-11:30 AM and from 4:00-6:00 PM and 8:30-9:30 PM. Weekend hours are around 10-13hrs. per month with possible extra hours during the week. Past experience with horses is required with a knowledge of basic horse care and behavior. Groom should be able to work independently, and be self-motivated. Teamwork with other grooms is also a plus. Reliability is a must! Only serious applicants will be considered for this all year round position which includes holidays.
