JL Waters is hiring!
Indiana's oldest and most complete outdoor store is now accepting resumes for both FULL and PART-TIME positions. JL Waters offers our customers everything they need for their next outdoor adventure. Our departments include Clothing, Footwear, Camp Goods, Climbing, Fly Fishing, Paddle Sports, Travel, and Specialty items. We are an individually owned store on the square in downtown Bloomington.
Primary consideration will be given to candidates with experience in retail and / or sales training, and the ability to use common sense and exude an upbeat, confident and outgoing personality.
FULL TIME POSITION:
This positions responsibilities include (but are not limited to) store opening and closing duties, cash handling, decision making, product merchandising, creating and assuring adherence to department budgets, managing the departments ordering process, and driving customer service and sales.

The position will average between 40 and 45 hours per week.
PART TIME POSITIONS:
These positions will include assisting our customers in the proper selection, use and care of gear or apparel for use on their next adventure. It will also include attention to product displays, general housekeeping, and other duties related to the operation of a retail store.
Benefits include a 20% employee discount, Pro Deals (purchases made directly from many of our vendors for less than wholesale), great hours of operation, and a friendly and fun-loving staff of outdoor enthusiasts. Other benefits may apply.
The position will average between 16 and 32 hours per week.
