After you were licensed came training which was done by books-tapes-CDs-DVDs- Siminars-Webinars-Classrooms-Meetings-Shadowing another agent/manager-etc,etc. Then comes the age old question of who am I going to sell Ins to You were either instructed to fill out the age old "100 Name List" of who you know(Mother brother nabor uncle aunt Grandma cousins- team mates etc etc etc) we were always instructed to ask for referrals also or you were given a phone book and told to start calling or you were told to network or knock on doors or buy leads from a Professional lead supplier only to realize that after calling to set appointment they said they didn't know anything about it or that they didn't remember filling out a request for information. or you drove a long way to the home or business only to find out that no one was there or it was a 'one legger' that couldn't make a decision or they said," give us your card and we will think about it and call you." They never call you EVER Those leads cost anywhere for $20 to $100 each. How do I know all this you ask I have done them all myself and so have most of my Insurance Agent friends, And the truth be known you have also tried all of these methods or at least some of them and obviously it didn't work out to well for you either or you wouldn't be on CL again looking at false promises again,Does everybody fail at this?
