Apartment Maintenance Technician II – Full Time

We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician II for our beautiful property in Bloomington, IN.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Works in turnover and renovation units, as well as responds to maintenance service requests.

Works on external, as well as internal repairs which may include, but is not limited to dry wall repairs, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing installation or repairs, appliance repairs, HVAC systems, and common area clean-up.

Maintains or assist in maintaining inventory and prepares related paperwork.

Keeps storage facilities and equipment in an orderly and working condition.

A minimum of two years’ verifiable hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is necessary. Must be able to pass Level I maintenance exam with a score of 90% or better and 75% on Level II maintenance exam.

Qualifications

The Maintenance Technician must have previous maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment or hotel industry, as well as excellent customer service skills. Candidate should have experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns. Strong HVAC experience is required. EPA Universal Certification is a plus! Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
