BacklotCars has an immediate opening for a vehicle inspector in the Bloomington, IN/ Terre Haute area. BacklotCars is a Kansas City based start-up focused on revolutionizing automotive wholesale. We're growing fast and are looking for people to join the ride.
As a subcontractor for BacklotCars you will be inspecting cars at new car dealerships and loading the inspection information to our website using our mobile application. The inspections include engine, transmission, differential, interior, and transfer case. Typically, our inspectors complete each inspection in 15-20 minutes.

All inspectors must have a minimum of 5 years automotive experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent mechanical background. Must have a working smartphone with data and a basic OBD II scanner. Must also have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
