Workday Senior HRIS Analyst:The Senior Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst is a key role responsible for partnering with leadership to ensure systematic implementation of business requirements and processes through system knowledge (primarily Workday). This position is also responsible for the report generation, data security, data integrity, and ongoing maintenance tasks for the HRIS department. Using strong communication and interpersonal skills, this role will be instrumental in the gathering of business requirements and transforming those requirements into systematic processes that meet the needs of CNO. Working with the rest of the HRIS team, as well as other HR teams, the Senior HRIS Analyst will be key in ensuring the strategic vision of the CNO HR department is met. This role will work closely with the HRIS manager and act as a backup as needed, being involved in multiple ongoing initiatives.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide expertise and oversee Workday Configuration in one or more of the following areas:
Human Capital Management
Payroll for United States
Compensation
Performance Management
Time Tracking
Recruiting
Security
Adaptive Insights
Maintain Workday Business Process Design
Create custom reports as needed to meet business needs/objectives
Develop strong relationships with internal partners to gain understanding of business requirements; guide business requirements gathering sessions
Identify/propose solutions for process/system improvements
Oversee the semiannual Workday feature releases for areas assigned
Mentor/coach other HR team members in Workday functionality and capabilities
Ensure data integrity through process design and data audit processes
Troubleshoot and contribute to resolution of questions/issues escalated from Tier 1/Tier 2 support
Support and participate as a project team member in ongoing Workday projects and other HR and/or enterprise initiatives
Expand use of benchmarking data from Workday and other external sources
Back up HRIS team members and other HR positions as required
Other tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE PROFILE:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system design/configuration
Prior HRIS experience required, preferably with Workday
Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or related field preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of Workday system; Workday Pro certification a plus
Strong focus on confidentiality
Strong technical aptitude required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Self-starter capable of independently digging into a given subject to determine needed results
Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment with exceptional attention to detail
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS office suite
Basic understanding of Workday Integrations/XML/XSLT a plus
Basic knowledge of SQL a plus
Knowledge of Workday Prism a plus
Knowledge of Dovetail a plus
Knowledge of Jobvite a plus
