JOB SUMMARY
Atlas International is currently seeking an ambitious, competitive, and driven Pricing Analyst to join the team! The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for quick responses to a large variety of requests for air and surface shipment pricing. This position will communicate with domestic and overseas partners to research, gather and compile information to competitively price. As a team member, one will be involved in process development/improvement within the Pricing department and with other departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Update in house rate quote system with specific shipment details and pricing
Efficiently respond to questions including rate requests and quotes, transportation services provided by the pricing department, preferred vendors
Cultivate/utilize persuasive negotiation and memory retention association skills and develop keen follow-up and closing techniques to enhance growth
Establish/maintain positive relationships and work productively with other departments (internally & externally) to effectively communicate precise information and provide expert advice to potential customers
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess basic math skills and have efficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite)
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree desired, but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2+ years of sales or customer service experience preferred
Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and precision in daily work
Displayed sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
Must be very organized with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload
Goal-oriented and driven
Intermediate math skills
Problem solving skills
Memory retention association skills
