Operations Manager - Day shift

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an Operations Manager to support our Distribution team in Fort Wayne, IN.  An Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operation of a specific group of departments within the Distribution Center, as well as ensure service levels, performance levels, quality and human resources are meeting daily business requirements.Want to join a key team that helps the world read?The world is reading, and it is our goal to connect as many people as possible to the content they want in the simplest ways.  If you want to be part of a customer-centric team that strives for excellence, collaboration, innovation, we can’t wait to meet you!Schedule Primarily Day Shift with flexibility for evenings and weekends.What You'll Need:College degree or directly related year for year experience3 or more years of management experience1 or more years of manufacturing experienceWhat You’ll Do:Manage materials and equipment necessary for the daily production and shipping of books to LSI customers, including but not limited to, order routing, material requisitioning, shift staffing, and quality controlCoordinate with other LS Departments, to resolve customer complaints, rush orders and meet client needsOversee and direct supervisors on assigned shiftCompose and approve associate evaluations and maintain accurate attendance/time records; recommending disciplinary measures, as neededInterview applicants, approve hiring decisions and oversee trainingEnsure that safety and hazardous material guidelines are followed by associates at all timesHiring Salary Range: $97,201 - $123,251k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
