As a Systems Administrator, essential responsibilities include:


  • Provide daily monitoring, maintenance and administration of assigned IT systems, applications, Servers (2012r2, 2016, 2019), Workstations (Win10), appliances and network devices.

  • Resolve support incidents escalated by lower support tiers and provide technical guidance to lower support tiers.

  • Communicate problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.

  • Serve as a consultant to line of business managers and other stakeholders on the most efficient use of current applications.

  • Maintain inventory of existing applications, servers, and network devices.

  • Perform preventative maintenance including installation of service packs, patches, and hot fixes on applications, operating systems, and systems.

  • Participates in after-hours on-call rotation.

Experience
Required

  • 6 year(s): Previous experience with hands on hardware/software troubleshooting.

  • 3 year(s): Previous experience with VMWare Virtualization, SQL Server, Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy/DFS, patch management SCCM/WSUS, centralized AV and backup management.

  • 3 year(s): Previous experience deploying, administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and Client Operating systems, incl. Server 2008,2012,2016,2019 and Windows 7/8/10.
Education
Required

  • Associates or better in Computer Science or related field
